Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has posted an employment notification for the recruitment of  Officers posts in Reserve Bank of India. Eligibility Criteria:

RBI  Officer Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 30 years as on 01-04-2014. In other words candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-04-1984 to 01-04-1993 (Both days inclusive). Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules and it will be considered as on 01-07-2014.

RBI Officer Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualification.
  1. A First Class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade OR
  2. A Second Class Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade OR
  3. A Doctorate Degree with 50% marks in Master's Degree or equivalent grade OR
  4. Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree OR
  5. A Post Graduate Diploma in Management /MBA qualification from institutions recognized by Government of India/ University Grants Commission, with Graduation / Bachelor's Degree.

RBI Grade B Officer Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written examination (Preliminary and Descriptive) and Interview.

RBI Officer Online Application Form: All those candidates who wish to apply for RBI Grade B Officers 2014 for Grade “B” Officers posts in Reserve Bank of India, they are required to apply through online mode on RBI’s official website at www.rbi.org.in.
After submission of online application candidates are required to take print out of the system generated online application form for further use.

How to Apply Online for RBI  Officer: Before start filling online application, make sure candidates have scanned copies of Photograph and Signature.
  1. Log on to RBIs official website at www.rbi.org.in.
  2. Navigate to Recruitment Section.
  3. Now Click on “Recruitment of Grade “B” Officers”.
  4. Now fill all marked details and click on submit button.
  5. Upload Photograph and Signature.
  6. Now make payment as mentioned above.
  7. Once you are done with everything in the application form, click on submit button.
  8. At last, take print out of application form for future references.

About RBI Bank:

The Reserve Bank of India was established on April 1, 1935 in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.

The Central Office of the Reserve Bank was initially established in Calcutta but was permanently moved to Mumbai in 1937. The Central Office is where the Governor sits and where policies are formulated.

Though originally privately owned, since nationalisation in 1949, the Reserve Bank is fully owned by the Government of India.
