Eligibility for Railway TC, Station Master, Guard: 

 Candidates must possess 10th with minimum 50 % of marks for Railway TC
 Aspirants should be of age limit 18 to 25 years.
Those who have completed their diploma or 12th class can also apply for the same. Graduates are also qualified for this post provided they are not above the specified age limits.
Relaxation in age will be given to the reserved categories like SC/ST and OBC applicants.

Railway TC Exam Pattern:

Candidates applying for Ticket Collector need to appear in the Written Exam conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board in Indian Railway. On the basis of performance and merit list in the Written Exam candidates go through the medical tests after clearing need to take the proper training in a particular Station or Route.

Railway RRB Mumbai TC Syllabus:

Railway TC Exam consists of MCQ based questions from the following subjects.

Appliers are appointed on the basis of their presentation in two successive stages of Written Examination.

  •  Click on the “Online Application” link.
  • Click on the “New Registration” link.
  •  Fill the basic details carefully & select the post applied for.
  •  Fill the other details carefully and submit the application form.
  •  Registration Number & Password will be displayed on the screen.
  •  Login using the Registration Number and Password.
  •  Fill other relevant personal details.
  •  Now pay the fee through Net Banking/ debit/ credit card/ challan form/ Pay-in-slip in any bank rather than SBI.
  •  Download the blank “Template” by clicking on the link “Download Template”.
  •  Affix your colour photograph (of size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm), clear left hand thumb impression,
  • Signature and also copy the declaration
  •  Scan the duly filled “Template” in prescribed format.
  •  Submit the application form and take the printout copies of application form for future use.
  •  Even after final submission if a candidate wishes to make any modifications.
  • Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- for modification for all category candidates.

Indian Railways (IR) is an Indian state-owned enterprise, owned and operated by the Government of India through the Ministry of Railways. It is one of the world's largest railway networks comprising 115,000 km (71,000 mi) of track over a route of 65,808 km (40,891 mi) and 7,112 stations. As for rolling stock, IR holds over 245,267 Freight Wagons, 66,392 Passenger Coaches and 10,499 Locomotives (43 steam, 5,633 diesel and 4,823 electric locomotives).[3] The trains have a 5 digit numbering system and runs 12,617 passenger trains and 7421 freight trains daily.[4] As of 31 March 2013, 21,614 km (13,430 mi) (32.8%) of the total 65,808 km (40,891 mi) route length was electrified.Since 1960, almost all electrified sections on IR use 25,000 Volt AC traction through overhead catenary delivery.
